Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 22, 2026  ·  Last updated: June 22, 2026

The short version — plain English first:

Stored on your device

All your habits and logs are saved locally on your phone. We never upload them anywhere.

No data collected

We don't collect, store, or share any personal information about you.

No account needed

Habit Track works without registration, sign-in, or any account creation.

01

Information We Collect

Habit Track does not collect any personal information. Your data never leaves your device.

All data you enter into Habit Track — including your habit names, completion history, streaks, and reminder settings — is stored exclusively on your device using local storage (Hive database). This data is not transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party.

We do not collect:

  • Names, email addresses, or any identifying information
  • Location data
  • Device identifiers or advertising IDs
  • Usage analytics or crash reports
  • Any data about your habits or daily routines
02

Notifications

Habit Track may request permission to send you local notifications as reminders for your habits. These reminders are generated and delivered entirely on-device by the Android operating system — no notification data is sent to any external server.

You can enable or disable notifications at any time through your device's system settings or within the app's settings screen.

03

Third-Party Services

Habit Track does not integrate with, or send data to, any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-collection services. The app operates fully offline and does not require an internet connection to function.

The app uses the following open-source libraries, all of which operate entirely on your device:

  • Hive — local database storage
  • flutter_local_notifications — on-device reminder notifications
04

Data Security

Because all data is stored locally on your device, its security is governed by your device's own security features (screen lock, device encryption, etc.). We recommend keeping your device's operating system up to date and using a screen lock.

Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all stored data from your device.

05

Children's Privacy

Habit Track does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. As no data is collected at all, the app is safe for use by all ages.

06

Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
